But any how i managed to secure some moments for my hobby i.e. to write my heart out. There are many occasions in one's life when everything don't go the way they wanted. During that period one has to take it as an opportunity to fight the circumstances and come up as a true winner with the help of loved ones. This is the time when one should focus on his/her ultimate dream and desire what they want to achieve from their life.
Last week i had a small discussion with Paul Sir, my classmate in IIT. We were talking about why a person isn't satisfied with his own life? why a person looses his focus,enthusiasm and spirit he was having some years ago when he was young. I thought about it and later on came with a view that a person during early part of his career has a goal, an aim and from where he gets the energy to struggle and fight in the throat cutting battle in this competitive world.
But once he realizes his dream, achieves his goal he gives up. His life becomes aimless and that is the period which is more dangerous and painful than the one of the aftermath of losing in the battle. Thats the phase i was going through from last 1 year. I had a dream to enter into IIT and later on did well in 1st yr as well but somehow lost the path and thought a mid way station as the destination.
During the discussion i thought how much an aim in life is necessary to keep the fighting spirit alive in one's life. And to achieve that one must believe in long term goals rather than short term. Getting into an elite institute or scoring good marks can only give us some happiness but definitely not the ultimate joy of life.
An aim should be such that it can take our whole life to achieve that and more importantly it should be such that we are ready to give our whole life to achieve it no matter how hard it is no matter how much we have to suffer.
In pursuit of similar dream i start my journey today..........
